Learning Outcomes:  At the end of completion of this course unit, the BAMS undergraguate should be able to,

* Explain the historical review, evolution, scope and future trends of Shalakya Tantra.

* Describe basic aetiopathogenesis of common eye,ear and nose,related diseases.

* Perform special therapeutic procedures related to eye,nose and,ear diseases.

* Diagnose and treat common diseases of eye,ear and nose in a hospital setting and in general practice.

* Perform efficient skills in patient examination and instruments handling in Shalakya Tantra.

* Identify the conditions that need urgent referral to the hospital and conditions that can be dealt with in primary care.

* Identify the less common conditions needing referral for opening further management.
